Biography
Robert Hess has worked for Microsoft for 16 years. Therefore we are guessing he joined the company about 1988, back when the people working for Microsoft were really interested in the technology that Microsoft was producing.

He is part of Windows Evangelism which is basically about communicating with developers and working out what they want to know about how to maximize their usage of the Windows platform. He also hosts the Dot Net show on MSDN and used to teach programming.

His hobby is cocktails and describes himself as a "cocktail geek." Heis favourite bar in Seattle is the Zig Zag Cafe. He also runs a website on cocktails called DrinkBoy.
